Austin, Texas Project
Set in the heart of Austin, this newly built 2024 European Contemporary home is a study in contrasts—airy yet grounded, refined yet deeply personal. From the outset, the homeowners envisioned a retreat, a space where they could escape their high-profile lives, embrace a sense of calm, and simply breathe. And that’s exactly what this home delivers. Soft neutrals and layered textures greet you at every turn, offering a warmth that feels timeless, as if it’s been curated over years rather than designed “overnight”. Venetian plaster adds subtle depth, while bold choices—like the rich brown Arabescato marble in the kitchen and sculptural vintage lighting—imbue the home with character and personality. Over 60% of the furnishings are vintage treasures, sourced locally in Texas and from European markets, each piece carefully chosen for its history and soul. The design is rooted in the perfect balance of natural materials, thoughtfully curated moments, and a balance between understated elegance and statement-making drama. The result? A home that’s both elevated and deeply personal—where beauty and function meet seamlessly, creating a space that feels collected over time and is as dynamic as it is inviting.
