Molly’s Oregon Sanctuary
Nestled on two acres of Oregon woodlands, Molly Kidd’s home is both a family retreat and a living manifesto of her design philosophy. The 1980s property, reimagined from the ground up, now blends old-world European elegance with the raw beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Molly’s intuitive process began with months of immersion—studying the light, flow, and energy of the home. The result is a space that exudes warmth and sophistication: Venetian plaster walls, rich Farrow & Ball tones, and bespoke cabinetry are layered with vintage Murano fixtures and a rare chocolate-hued Lacanche range. Anchored by a restored rounded entryway and colonial windows, the home is a harmonious interplay of form, function, and nature. This personal project also serves as a living showroom, offering clients a tangible vision of Kidd’s approach to enduring, layered design. From the bespoke plaster shower to antique furniture and curated pieces from brands like Sixpenny, every detail reflects Kidd’s belief in beauty, functionality, and legacy. More than a home, this is a story of transformation—a bold debut that defines Kidd’s future as a design force.
