INSTALL DAY I & II
In case you haven't noticed, we spent last week putting the finishing touches on our beloved Austin project. AKA working 12 hour days to ensure a swoon-worthy install and reveal to our amazing clients and of course, all of you. Building a dream home takes more than just great design—it requires thousands of decisions, teamwork, and burning the midnight oil behind the scenes. From collaborating closely with builders, to understanding client’s unique needs, to selecting materials, coordinating with vendors, and overcoming unexpected challenges, every detail matters. The process is complex, but the reward is creating a space that reflects the client’s vision and lifestyle.

We can't reveal everything just yet, and we can’t give away the farm on sources, but we're excited to share more about this recent project soon. Install days I & II were a lot of prepping, cleaning, and unpacking. After the trucks offload and the team arrives, we move the furniture into place and then move it again and again until its just right (even if the mood board didn’t have the same layout). Styling is the je ne sais quoi of the project and where everything really comes to life. Florals, candles, provisions, etc. are the cherries on top!
INSTALL DAY III & IV
Our photo days are just as demanding as the moving ones, but in a totally different way. It's when we get to capture every vignette, every moment, and see the home come to life through the Lenz’ lens. Watching the spaces we've worked so hard on finally "shine" on the big screen is incredibly rewarding. Those photos become timeless assets for our team, serving as inspiration to future clients and a reminder of how far we've come. It’s humbling to see all the hours of design, planning, and partnership come together in an album. And the best part? The final day, when we reveal the completed project to our client. Seeing their reactions—tears, laughter, pure joy—makes every bit of hard work worth it. It's the ultimate reward and a moment we all look forward to.
