This season’s musts are inspired by that in-between space: where a designer moves seamlessly from morning coffee runs to client walk-throughs, all the way from wining & dining to layered textures at home.
It’s the feeling of being on—but never overworked. Off—but still entirely intentional.
Think: a leather bag tossed over the shoulder, tailored cotton that holds its shape but softens with wear, florals that feel collected, not arranged, and objects at home that don’t ask for attention—but always receive it. There’s an ease to it. A rhythm.
Pieces that travel with you throughout the day and settle back into your space just as beautifully.
It lives in the balance of both. This month, I’m leaning fully into what I’m calling my Love Story era — inspired by the timeless, understated elegance of Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy. But in true Molly Beth Kidd fashion, we’re calling it MBK instead of CBK.

The MBK Edit — A Love Story to Timeless Style
As an interior designer, I’m always thinking about balance, texture, and restraint — and honestly, my closet follows the same rules as my spaces. The goal is never more. It’s better. Think neutrals, beautiful fabrics, and silhouettes that will look just as chic five years from now as they do today.

It’s about choosing less, but choosing well. Think of it as a love story with your wardrobe, where every piece feels familiar, beautiful, and entirely your own.
