JUNE
Somewhere between walking a job site on 30A, presenting a winery vision with my team, and wandering through Los Angeles in search of inspiration, I looked up and realized the month of June had quietly become one I'll remember for a long time.

In early June I spent a few days walking our 30A project, its in a beautifully unfinished chapter. Before the furniture arrives, before the art is hung, before the candles are lit and someone pours the first glass of wine. It's full of possibility in waiting...
Oddly enough, I love them in that season. It's when you notice the quiet things— the conversation beginning between materials that, just months earlier, only existed as fabric swatches and sketches spread across my desk. There's something incredibly romantic about watching a house slowly become itself.

Back in Oregon, my team and I wrapped the week presenting the vision for our winery project. They're the moment ideas leave the mood board and begin feeling tangible—less like inspiration and more like a place people can already imagine themselves inside.
Watching clients catch that vision—that little shift where curiosity turns into excitement—will never get old.

The third week took me to Los Angeles for a few days of inspiration, sourcing, and catching up with some of my favorite LA people. I firmly believe every creative needs to refill the well from time to time, and LA always has a way of doing that. Beautiful hotels, incredible vintage finds, long lunches, great conversations, and enough inspiration to fill my camera roll for months.

And then...
Let's just say it was a whirlwind in all the best ways. I'm keeping this one under wraps for just a little longer, but I cannot wait to share what we've been working on. Trust me—it's worth the wait. But for now, here is the paint colors shown above!

As June comes to a close, I've found myself looking back more than usual. Not just at the month, but at the last two years of Molly Kidd Studio.
Tomorrow, on July 1, we celebrate another birthday.
It's funny how anniversaries have a way of making you realize just how much life has happened in between.

This summer feels like the beginning of another chapter. There are more miles on the calendar, more stories waiting to unfold, and a handful of dreams I still can't quite tell you about. For now, I'll simply say this: I have a feeling this is going to be a summer we'll remember. And I can't wait to bring you along for every bit of it.
As we head into July, I'm feeling incredibly grateful—for our clients who trust us, for a team that makes all of this possible, and for this community that continues to cheer us on. Thank you for being here. Truly.
Until next month,
Molly
