DEAR SANTA,
I’ve been mostly good — which should count for something. On my list this year: heirloom-worthy glassware, sophisticated outerwear, a candle that smells like cashmere, and a few things too beautiful to be practical. This year, I’m leaning into a wishlist that’s delightfully impractical — sculptural lighting, a silk robe worthy of breakfast in bed, and tabletop pieces that make even Tuesday night feel like an occasion.

At home:
Hosting...wine breathing in a decanter, plates stacked, cherry pie in the oven, dinner burning on the stove. A fire on against a backdrop of venetian plaster and late-night jazz. Barefoot through it all, wrapped in a jacquard something, undoing the evening one laugh at a time.
On her:
Worn jeans that feels like morning, heels by the door, the simplicity of a black dress against candlelight. In her favorite cardigan— composed, undone, entirely her own.
She gathers:
Linen, glass, and gold (or silver) or both. Things with history, things that soften with time. The art of patina.

This month’s November Musts is an ode to the art of gifting and gathering — a curation of pieces that blend elegance with ease. From candlelit dinners to glittering soirées, each selection is meant to inspire calm sophistication, celebration, and every moment in between.

At home:
She collects cut crystal coupes and embroidered napkins, not for show—but because she believes beauty should be used daily.
On her:
A LBD in jet black, simple in cut but rich in texture. Her heels are low and sharp, made for walking through cobblestone or conversation.
She buys:
Silk with weight, lace with story. A vintage brooch that looks like it belonged to someone’s grandmother in the 1940s and a pair of dark chocolate pumps with just enough height to feel intentional.
